Description

JoinIN sessions are designed to help you with various startup topics from product Ideation to MVP in a collaborative environment.  At this session, we'll focus on strategies and resources to discover and execute on product/market fit.

You'll hear from the only people on the planet who truly understand the trials and tribulations of starting something from scratch - your peers.  We're helping build a healthy ecosystem, so our first (and only) rule is to be willing listen and help your peers, as well as receive.

This huddle provides a safe and friendly environment to discuss your challenges in finding your product/market fit, and get immediate feedback, fresh ideas, resource recommendations, and much more.  If you have been to a Huddle before, you know the more specific you are about your challenge and needs, the more benefit you can get from it.

The session is facilitated by key player(s) in the Silicon Beach community to help guide the conversation as needed.

JoinIN Team

JoinIN IS THE PROFESSIONAL MARKETPLACE OF IDEAS AND KNOWHOW ONLINE AND OFFLINE, seamlessly integrating the virtual and physical worlds to help startups and globally distributed enterprise teams engage, collaborate, and innovate. We use the sports analogy. Collaboration starts with Playbooks which provide context for your ideas, projects, etc. Huddles are events or meetings where you can get together in the physical world. A Play is any input that can be added to a Playbook, like an article, a piece of advice, referral, job, product, service, etc. Your Playbooks and Huddles can be public or private, and can be linked together to provide context for building relationships online and offline, before, during and after meetings and events.

Why should you care about your company culture?
There are many factors contributing to a company’s success, and these days we hear a lot about company culture being one of the most impactful ones. But is it really? And with all you have to deal with, why should you care about your company culture from day one?? Studies show that not only does company culture play a major role in attracting the best candidates, it helps retain them and enable them to perform at their best level. With only 31% of employees engaged at work, and an average employee giving their company a C+, it’s no surprise that company culture is getting so much attention these days. You may think only big companies can afford to worry about culture. Come find out why it’s even more important for your startup. After all, if you don’t like the place and the people you work with, how can you withstand the pressures and enjoy the excitement of launching a new venture? Join us on Tuesday, October 24th to share stories,  learn, and brainstorm together on what defines great company culture and how we can help you with the challenges you’re facing with your startup. Our sessions tend to go past the scheduled end time; all are always welcome to stay and share a glass of wine and  continue the conversation.
